He/she works in pediatric doctors’ offices, pediatric wards in hospitals and other different places. Hence, he/she is a necessity for both hospitals and families because he/she plays a key role in helping them to manage crises.
However, since he/she needs specialized training in order to perform his/her role effectively, it is advisable for him/her to ensure that he/she takes the necessary measures to ensure that he/she has the necessary qualifications for practicing in his/her profession. Some hospitals usually offer intern programs for nursing graduates and hence the easiest way for him/her to qualify is to seek employment in such hospitals since the aforementioned programs include both clinical and classroom training that specializes in pediatrics.
