Just before joining OfficeMax, Slone held various executive positions with Whirlpool, Vehicle, Federal-Mogul, EDS and Ernst & Youthful.
Slone also can serve as secretary from the board of company directors of Aspire of Illinois, a non-profit organization serving children and grown ups with children with disabilities.
Slone gets control supply chain management responsibility from Randy Lewis, who's shifting to a different role with the organization.
